Has anyone ever heard of this vehicle? I found a picture of it in an old Schumacher (www.racing-cars.com) newsletter - December 2000, I think.
The sales guy at Schumacher-USA says it was discontinued some time ago and did not offer to send any old literature on it to me. I haven't heard back from Schumacher-UK yet (almost a week now!).
It appeared to be an inexpensive, electric car with a Cooper Mini body and big tires. I would like to find some specs on it or some owner feedback so I'll know whether or not to pursue finding a used one.

Hey.
I had the Wildcat Vyper, a longer wheelbase version of the Mini.
It was discontinued, but was great fun!
The car was rear wheel drive, with the motor and equipment paced inside 2 plastic plates, kind of like the HPI Savage truck. The whole car was made of plastic, and came with a 'Unbreakable guarentee', i.e, you break a bit of plastic, it gets replaced for free.
They were very cheap to buy brand new, (£34.99 in kit form, or £79.99 deal!), but were very fun. The Vyper had a wheelie bar on the back, someoting I used alot with the 12t motor!
I think I know of a shop here in the UK with one in stock, I can give you the details if you want.

I know I'm a bit late to answer the question, but i recently bought one of these suckers 2nd hand on ebay. I found this thread (and forum :o) when searching for more info on it. The car came with none of the original packaging or documentation, so just finding out it is called a wildcat has been a bonus
I did another search armed with this info and came up with a parts diagram on the schumacher site:
http://www.racing-cars.com/images/Technical_info/Schumacher/Old%20Cars/Wildcat/Exploded%20Diagram/wildcatexploded.pdf
they also still stock parts on both uk and usa sites.
To add to hobsons comments, the car is mental. no suspension and no diff, the back axle is a solid piece of steel :D It wheelies everywhere and spins on the spot. It does seem virtually indestructable too.
surely mine is not the only one?

I've got one of these! forgot all about it till i cleaned my room out 2weeks ago and found it, missing a few parts but should be able to get them now with the links found in these threads. Thanx. spotted one on ebay last week bout £30 mite stil be there! Oh, and i managed to break mine. but at the time there was a 12month waranty on non moveing parts so i'll have to watch out for walls now!
