The diff in the evader keeps coming loose i hear it so i tighten it up but it comes back loose.. how can i make it so it stays tight? i just rebuilt it to find nothing wrong with it no grooves in the washers or anything.

is there a nut in the diff that the adjusting screw tightens down on.. or does the adjusting screw tighten into the opposite outdrive..

either way.. replace what ever the screw tightens into so it grabs better.. and you could try using a small dab of locktite if it uses a nut.. and make sure its a locknut..

Sounds like your diff is in the wrong way.

Yeah, the diff adjuster bolt should be on the right side of the car. Right guys?

Make sure that the nylon diff nut holder on the left hand side has not lost its "ears" from overtightening or overheating. If you bought the rebuild kit from Duratrax, a new nut holder should have come with it.

hey thanks alot guys.
i think it was on wrong, but i dont think that was the problem.
the evader is my freinds and i guess he tightened it down too much and it broke the thrust bearing and the washers. crazy.
oh and on the diff you mean from looking from the back right?

heh we were supposed to race to see what is faster my mt or his evader. for right now my mt is faster becouse it moves :D

do you guys know why the stock evader is soo slow? it isnt the motor becouse we ran it in the sport and it was just as fast as the p2k. why is the truck so slow becouse my mt is faster and runs for just as long if not longer.

The gearing in the Evader for the stock motor is pretty undergeared.

Not sure for Duratrax, but for Losi, the screw head should be on the left side when you're looking from the back of the car.
