I've had more fun bashing with my Ironman than with any other truck I've owned, hands down. I've liked my Stampedes just fine, but with all the same gear (motor, speed control, radio, battery), I have ran circles around the 'Pedes. It runs faster, jumps smoother and farther, has better handling (a little lower but it still looks like a MT). Its solid and I haven't broken anything. I think its one of the industries under-rated trucks. Too bad they're discontinued.
Anyone own an MRC Q-Tee 4WD Coupe? I just won one cheap off eBay because I've always wanted one. Let me know if anyone has one.

me got a ironman, its pretty durable, nice truck when it drove, got it aboot 3 years ago, haven't driven it in 2. It was a good drive when it did, if i can get some bearings in it, im gonna bolt in a new esc and an old firehawk. I woulda taken a stampede , more hop-ups and parts availability. If it were easier 2 get parts for them, i would've kept driving the Ironman, but it got replaced with a T3, then a XXX, then a few more, its become more of a parts bin, but i wanna get it running again.

Well, I just got that Q-Tee coupe kit I won off eBay. I can't wait to put it together! It looks like it'll be pretty good, with plenty of suspension travel. I'll give a report on it soon. My Ironman will be running soon too, as soon as I get an esc in the mail that I bought off a guy.

hey i have a mt10-s and that thing is as tough as nails. the only thing i have ever broken because of a crash was a rear hub carrier. and it was a bad crash too. i just got mine running again, even though i had to drop 200 into it to make it work right. i just bought a speed gems 16 turn and a cirrus high torque servo, a lrp quantum pro sport, a novak fusion (well i had it fixed as a backup) and a new body and new tires. i have 4 different bodies. i have a dodge ram, a ford bronco, a stock t3 body, and a ford f-350. and i have proline masher tires on it with rpm slingshot rims. i think ill just list the other stuff:
custom front aluminum skid plate
rear carbon fiber suspention arms
blue rpm ball cups
full ball bearings
losi slipper pads
8 batterys
mrc 809 charger
promax charger/discharger
dynamite vision peak charger
tons of other stuff
well thats most of it but there is no way i can list it all. hey how bout some pics? post some of yours and ill try to post some of mine. this is cool i hope some more people reply to this thread.

I don't get it- I wasn't allowed to post my old Ironman's pics because I used them when I sold it around December. But here's the Q-Tee in stock trim (won't stay stock for long!).

did you get that off of ebay a couple of months ago?
Matt Stepanian

As a matter of fact, I did! It was an unopened kit. I had lots of fun building it- very well made truck. Onlt thing I wish it had is ball diffs instead of planetary gear diffs- but at least they'll last a long time. It all seems like a great kit. Easy to put together, too.

i think you were the one that outbid me at the last second. cause i tried to get one but i was outbid at the last second. i wanted a 4wd car and when i didnt get it i was mad. however i just got a tamiya wild dagger off ebay a while ago so it should be here soon. i dont know if it will replace my mrc though, i love that truck, its my baby.

I can't say I'm sorry about outbidding you, if it was you, dude! Its a great kit. Haven't run it yet, but I'll bet it'll be a blast! Right now I'm having trouble with my MT10's diff- it keeps loostening. I'm going to replace the diff parts with Associated diff parts (they fit).

i had the same prob a long time ago. i found out it was the thrust washer assembly. there were no washers and no balls. make sure it is installed right too, the head of the screw should be on the spur gear side. i'll try to post some pics later, but they are really old. later

Righto- that's the problem. I can use AE's thrust balls, according to a thread somewhere else. But the washers are toast too, as are my diff rings. My lhs carries all the AE parts I need that will fit it.

what size are the diff balls? i know that they are like 24 millimeter, the ones in there now, but on ae's package it doesnt say. i bought a aluminum diff gear that was meant for a losi xxxnt thinking it would fit but it didnt so i dont have a really good gear in there right now. the slipper clutch sucks too, im thinking of switching it to a traxxas one somehow cause i like the way those work. i havent really looked into it yet but i hope it will work. also im thinking of changing the rear hubs and bearings over to t3 size so i can buy them at the lhs, same w/ the front axels and bearings, i just got some blue anodized front axels off ebay, so i hope those fit. what elecs do you have in your mt10?

Don'tSlowDown,
Don't remember exactly, but I think they're 2.5 mm (not 24mm, which is almost an inch!!) for the 12 that go in the diff gear, and 1.6mm for the thrust balls (go in the outdrive under the diff bolt head). AE's 3/32" diff balls work (pkg of 12), as well as AE's thrust balls (pkg of 6).
Currently, I'm about to send my MT10 to my little bro, so I put a Traxxas msc in it, and it has a Speed Gems II 19t double. Runs good. A Futaba stick radio runs it all.

Don't Slow Down,
I'm not certain yet, but I think a Duratrax Evader diff gear is the same size. I'll try to find out for sure. All the rest of its diff parts work in our MRC's.

MRC Rules and I think Duratrax is doing the same thing they did packing in all the features for very little. I already have the Evader buggy. I've had MT's for about 10 years now. They amaze all on lookers.

I love MRC trucks! I own an Ironman......I went insane and put a brushless motor on 8 cells in mine...this thing FLIES!...only problem is that unless I turn the brakes down, I shred idlers like there was no tomorrow. :p But I like the truck. Very durable.

Howie-
Any 2.2" truck tires will fit. For general running, try Pro-Lines Dirt Hawgs, Dirt Works, or Masher 2000s.

I have a MRC MT10M (also known as the Ironman) that I must sell to assist in the payment of my tuition. The stock mechanical speed control was upgraded to a Futaba MC 210 CB electronic speed control immediately after the truck’s purchase. Also installed was a Futaba FP-R112JE receiver. All is controlled by a Futaba Magnum Sport Jr. radio. It has custom made aluminum front and rear bumpers. I also have a wealth of extra parts for the truck. I have a duplicate for almost every chassis part. Two bodies are included. One is a Gravedigger body and one is a Chevrolet Silverado Baja body. Also included is a pair of Proline Road Hawg rear tires, a pair of Proline “Y” Design Rear tires, as well as a pair of Proline 6-rib front tires, all of which are mounted on HPI 5-spoke wheels. A pair of pin style rear tires mounted on stock wheels and a full set of the stock monster truck dirt hawg type tires mounted on stock wheels top off the wheel and tire assortment. Finally, included are two older 1500Mah batteries and one 2000Mah battery. All of the additional included parts are worth a minimum of $150.00. I am asking $175.00 plus shipping for the whole package. This is a great truck at a great price. Contact me for pictures at carguy_no1@yahoo.com .
