EX-1 Precious vs. Mars

What is the difference between the EX-1 Precious and the EX-1 Mars? I believe the Precious is 2 channel and the Mars is 3 channel. Any other differences?

Well, I'm pretty sure the Mars has a few more features than the Precious, & it has more model memory(oh, & it uses the newer KO reciever, the KR297F, it's smaller, lighter & it works wonderfully), but aside from that, I don't think there's enough difference worth mentioning. However, if something goes wrong with a Mars, it can be serviced, while the Precious isn't in production anymore, so if it breaks down you could be SOL(one of my friends had to upgrade to a Mars because his Precious broke down on him, but at least they let him do it at a big discount). Are you looking buying a used Precious online or something? If the deal's a LOT sweeter than a Mars, then it may still be worth it.....:cool:

hmm.. thanks for the input. That's kinda what I was thinking. And yeah, I have a chance to get one for a big disc. over a Mars - sooo... :)

The only thing about the Ex-1 that I wish the Mars had is adjustable 3rd channel support. I hear the Ex-1 has this and am baffled why the Ex-11 doesnt. Other then that my Mars is the best controller I've owned.
