jet stream EP nitro conversion

finally, this forum is open. anyway, i have a jetstream 800 ep, and i wanna convert it to gas. can i use the internals of a jetstream1000gp?

You can convert the EP to nitro, but the process will require a bit of modifying of parts on your part. For a better idea of the work involved checkout the April 2001 issue of RC Boat Modeler Magazine; as it has a story on converting the Kyosho Blade Runner to nitro power. Instead of using 1000 pieces you might find the article's way easier-and maybe cheaper.

Navspecwar: I have a Jestream myself and am quite satisfied with the performance in EP status.

I have also been tempted to convert it to nitro, but nitro engine mounting concerns has slowed me down.

I'd love to see you do your conversion and am hoping to see photos too as you go along your development.
