Hi Everyone

I own three small weedwacker (two cycle Gas) engines in the range of 24 to 26 CC. I have been looking to convert one of them into a R/C engine. At east one of these engines appears flight ready if it wasn’t for issue of installing the prop! I would appreciate if anyone could advise me with the following:
It appears relatively easy to install a prop on the side that the pull cord is installed, the same side where the magneto is (as oppose to the side where the shaft for the weedwacker connects to the engine. On all three engines there are no thread for a prop nut on this side). However the pull-cored side in the normal weedwacker operation rotates clock wise, which is the opposite direction relative to a normal R/C plane rotation. Should I run the engine the Opposite direction on the plane? Is it possible to reverse the direction of rotation on these engines? Any help or link to a website would be appreciated.

The weedwackers will not run backwards as the magneto magnet is set into the flywheel controlling the timing. If you have a shop you could re broach the key and change the timing though. You could also turn out a prop adapter to fit.

Fairly quickly you could approach the cost of a good Zenoha
