I found these in Radio Control Car RacerMagazine. I thought I'd take pics out of it of the AE Tenth Technology Predator P8, and XXX4 that were in a race coverage article. I think the races were held in Britian.

Notice the big AE decals on the TTech Predator.

I don't know if they are putting these cars out in the near future, I just know what they are from pics and the little description in the article.

The Tenth Tech is not AE, but they are AE drivers, so they have AE stickers. ;)

The Losi, now thats another story. Several different people, mostly factory drivers, have been playing with custom built "XXX-4's ".

From what ive heard, no word on any production versions, just something that they've a couple drivers have been tooling with.

I may be wrong.. ;)

Yep, and you can tell it's not a converted TC3 by not only the length, but the antenna mount as well. Still cool, though, pudder. Good find!

The T-Tech isn't long - it's just VERY low, which creates the optical illusion.

It can hardly be a TC3 copy when it's been around in roughly the same form for about 10 years.

Probably took a XX4 decal and added another X to it.

Does anyone have an chassis shot of the tenth tech?

Quite sad by the Tenth tech poor market success ...
These cars were on the Leading edge for sure !

And their solid axle gearing design was a brilliant idea ... everybody success now follows ... See TB01, TC03, TGX/R, etc.

Very small UK company as far as I knew about it ...

There may be some more chassis pics athe the T Tech site (http://www.ttechracing.com) From what I've seen the TTech's inboard shocks make it handle quite badly on bumpy tracks with lots of jumps, but they do go well on flat grass tracks like most in hte UK.

That XXX-4 is just a straight XXX-S and XX-4 mixture and not a development car, I don't know if he was even a team driver

I think the T-Tech belongs to a British driver called Neil Cragg, his main Sponsor is AE hence the AE decals on the Predator. As for the xxx-4 the Losi UK team had been testing them for quite a while here in Britain http://www.rcracer.com/n00_88.htm

Hi guys, just found this old thread.... I run a Predator XK98 ungraded to a ETQ. This car is nothing like anything else you will ever see. Its smooth as a TC yet very strong. Its shock system is very good and can soak up any bumps etc as well as any other car, it takes jumps alot better than most as it lands rather flat. It has alot of suspension travel due the cantilever system it uses also. I do believe that only 3 people work in the TTech factory but I could be wrong. I have pics for anyone interested in seeing the insides up close.

cheers

Actually, I have been looking for pics of these cars. I went to the TT website, but the Predator link was under construction.

Let us see it!

i had a tenth technology sedan, and the build quality was rather bad. I had problems with the motor mount adjustment and coming up wiht the right ratio that would work. Also had problems with the suspension, ended up putting spacers in the shox to get it where i wanted it. Nothing seemed machined verywhell either, but this was a while ago, maybe they have got better since...

Well the build quality is very very good. As good as if not better than most leading brands. Heres a low quality pic I took in a hurry.

i remember that shock setup being a severe pain in the ass looking at it again

What's the opinion of these cars overseas?

KIWIRCGUY

Well I enjoyed running mine this past weekend. I think they have won the Euro. champs for the past 4 or so years. Didnt one get 3rd at the worlds a short time ago????

The car is great very robust and handles like a dream. The rear diff can give a few problems if not looked after.
The model shown in the pics below looks like an ETQ which is the latest model. Their TC has also been redesigned with alot of improvements as well. One of the major hassles with this car in MHO is the fact that you can only use Ttech wheels on them and only TTech bodies, the body part doesnt bother me as the car is so damn fine anways.
