I have several batteries that were not slow charged before I started fast charging them. is there any way to fix this? can I just slow charge them now. I don't think they are putting out their full potential.

can I just put ressitors on transformers I have to get the current down low enough to use. All I have is 50mah radio chargers and I need to get down to 5 and 12mah?

thanks
Mike

Hi Fwilly,
It is always a good idea to slow charge a battery from time to time. This brings all of the cells up to the same capacity. I use a 1k ohm potentiometer in series with my charger and connect a multimeter in series so that I can set the current to match the pack (5ma,12ma, etc.) You can often use a wall charger on the transmitter side as a source for this.

thanks
that was exactly what I needed to know. I got a multimeter today I just need to find the pots I have lying around. I'll make sure I slow charge them first now that I know how to get currents low enough.
