You can use the rear solid axle from a micro rs4 and use some high torque motor and some Radio shack toy car monster tires and wheels. Then you can do a 4-link suspension thingy etc etc etc.

I have done it. I took a Rustler front and rear end, made a new chassis, and bolted them on. To give you an idea of how small it was, the front and rear end almost touched (Just enough room for a battery pack width wise). It had the suspension of a raised Rustler, but was extremely short.

look in the magazine rc car. they had an article about a guy that made a 1/32 scale mt. he took a bigfoot snap together kit and put a cox free flight engine in it. he made his own flywheel and driveshafts and everything. he uses standard radio gear and stuff. its pretty cool.:D

What about a RS4 sport2? Think the arms will fit from the MT? I would assume the dogbones n stuff would fit as well?

Might do this with my T-Maxx wheels. :D

I saw that one in RCCA magazine, but it did not look like it had any ground clearance. It looked like a touring car that had a high monster truck body. Traxxas or someone else needs to make a 1/15 to 1/18 scale high performance monster truck just like the E-Maxx that can use standard equipment and can work off of one battery. That would be sweet. I have yet to see a mini monster that could handle like a real monster truck.

that wasn't what i was looking for but it is preatty awsome.

i was looking for the one in rcca monster that had a mini tube chassis. it had dual motors and everything, basically a mini txt. it was awsome.

i will try to build this mini that was linked and tell you how it turns out.

does anyone know where that motor mount came from?

hey,im in the creation process of a mini mt 4WD (only 6 inches long!!!!!!!) i have a post in this setion. im constructing the chasis out of brass tubing, using the front nd rear gear boxes out of a hpi nitro rs4 mt , and making the drive shafts out of the traxxas drive shafts. its going to be a four link suspension setup i think i mightse a 540 motor but i have been thinking of the weight nd top heavyness and pace issue so i have opted fr the team orion big block and the micro flash esc bth usd for the micro rs4's

i will let you kno how it comes ot (in a month or 2 or 3)

i could do that (make in structions) once i get all the bugs out. im trying to find fron axle cariers that will work on a 4wd i think i might take some parts off a traxxas car i think i might use some parts off a4 tec , bu i have to findout if they are 4wd,

so im going that have parts from ,hpi, orion, traxxas, and whtever i have to use to make this work. ill keep you guys updated:)

there's a mini x you could look at. it's basically a 4wd miniz. i've heard they're kinda cheaply made though. you can get the basic kit for only $40 from tinyrc.com
