Anyone know how to post pix on this board? Tried it on another board....not a pretty sight.
Well, first of all you'll need the image to be online so you can link to it. Some BB software will allow you to upload images to the forum server if it is below a certain size, but I'm not sure of RCCA's policy on this. All the forums that I've been to don't do that, though. They just tell you that it should be within a certain size limit(to keep download times reasonable for their users) and you link to wherever you have your image hosted.
If you don't have a place to host it, there are some free image hosting places on the net, but most of them don't allow you to link to the images, some have systems you can get around(like imagestation's omitting the ".orig.jpg" from the end of the image address for example) and others may even allow linking.
Being that I have my own web server, I haven't really looked into the different options.
As for how to post an image here on the site, check out the vB code instructions here: http://www.radiocontrolzone.com/forums/misc.php?s=&action=bbcode

You don't need to link anything. Just get your pics down to 640x480 and put them on yourself

Steve, I just tried to post a pix, 640x480, in jpg format, @ 57kb. The message I got was, "file to big"! The max size is 61kb. Hmmm.....

Try cutting it down a touch more, I've had that happen once or twice to.

Ok, Steve, try this on: I took your advice and cut it down to 600x450 and when I saved it, the file size was......LARGER!! For months, I've been holding off re-installing Win98, I think now would be a good time, wouldn't you?

I'm rather stumped by that one! What software are you using?
I don't think Windows could be causing it.

Well, I reloaded Windows and all is fine now. Corel works fine now, as does Lotus. and everything else.
Tho, I haven't been in a forum based on computers, I'm pretty sure nothing has changed: "Blame it on Windows!!"
