Advise on what radio do i need?

Hi i'm a newbee to r/c electric monster trucks.i just bought a Traxxas stampede.I need a radio ,which one ? just looking for the basic radio to get me going.thanxs for any help.Bronze;)

Hitec Lynx, JR XR2, Airtronics blazer, Futaba Mag Sport or Mag junior. those are the entry level ones

The Blazer sport is cheaper than the Blazer and will get you started, then you can switch it too your next car because it is a good reliable system. But if you have the money, I'd say go with the JRXR2, it is more expensive, but it has many other features that are useful too. If you plan on racing with a different car later or have a few cars or want to get a nitro in the future, go with the Jr Xr 3, fm, 3 channels, 3-modle memory with all the futures (prolly more) of the Jr Xr 2.

I'd go with a 3 channel radio, JR, Futaba, etc. Tho you may not need a 3 channel, it's nice to have.....just in case....
