has anyone tried to use the 3M expanding foam to fill up the tires? you know, the stuff that comes in an aerosol can, is yellowish colored, and is sticky as hell when you get it on your hands. i'm curious as to whether it would be too hard once it cures or what. seems that if it wasn't too stiff it would be an awesome replacement material since it would leave absolutely no voids and would fill in the space evenly. keep in mind that i'd try to use it on wheels that had vents on them to keep from pushing the bead of the tire over the rim as it expanded. let me know what you think. later...

I think that My mother ises that stuff to fill the gaps in the appartment. That stuff is as hard as a rock when it hardens.

I thought of using that stuff, but when I saw how hard it was I put that Idea in the recycling bin.

Tire foams are suppose to be soft and spongey.

You can use some of those sponges that you buy in the store, BUT I forgot which spubge works best. I will have to find that article on tire foam replacements.

This should give you a Idea.

Ever think of Packing peanuts or sand. In theory they both will fail because they are too hard, BUT the sand could help in keeping the truck stable because it is heavy.
