okay
heres the scoop
low level battery dies, emergency landing into the soccer goal net

results......elevator cracked from front to back on both sides of fuse
the fix.........titebond adhesive, cellophane packing tape, and to servo linkages.
1st use cellophane and rods to splint the wing back together
then spread cracks / breaks open and put in titebond
wait 1 hour
clean of excess glue residue
charge battery
go break it again!!!

see photo below of the installed rods
see other pic below of how straight the wing is
and yes after all repairs this bird gets new paint job
so cellophane is not too shiney!!!

this is the net that broke my wing yesterday
but the photos above this are from preflight today.
plane flew aok with no hindrence in flight characteristics
from rods on tail,, in fact it flew better!!! now that cupping in tail wing is gone thanks to the linkage rods
last week i broke vertical stab clean off while dogfihting an osprey (live bird) for some airspace
titebond has the stab back on better than ever

AirWarriorBelgy,

I can't see, your plane, but anyways, I bet your having a good flight with the Stick.

Here's the Stick Father : Piper J-3 Cub
WS - 52 1/2
Motor 480
Battery 8c / 600AE:D

AirWarriorBelgy I hit a soccer net with my Hitec SkyScooter. It lost so now I need to epoxy the wing some but not a real bad break.

Cool pictures on the Pico Stick F. I only made struts for the wing like the GWS Piper Cub has. My wing is really stiff and has almost zero flex. I flew it again today and was doing some dives and then pull back for a few loops and no wing fatalities.

I will have to try my plane with the stock prop and see how it flies compared to the 9x7 I use now.

i have tried the 9-4-7 and 9-7 prop to little avail
i seem to get the best power from the stock 10-4-7
but i am going to keep on experimenting
a buddy gave me a 370 with 5 :33 gear box, i am going to figure out how to mount it to stick with out tearing the wings off
lol
