Ok, im gonna sell my electrics, and im gonna have about 1000 bux to spend on a nitro. My 4 choices right now are: Thunder Quake, Terra Crusher, Dominator/MP(either 1) and the Mad Force. The leader right now is the Mad Force, but im not sure if i can assemble it, especially if the engine is unassembled. Input, please, and i really don't like asking these, it usually turns into a massive fight, but i need input.

i read the review of the dominator, which is what put it on my list. I've heard good things about all of them, so im looking for people with first hand experience with n e of them.

I say get the TQ cuz it can out handle any of the monster truck you named but i'm not going to lie there are a few problems the youll have to take care of for a ride that will be trouble free for a long time.;)

if you want almost true MT then go for mad force, cause as i know all others are based on buggies, but theyr all great trucks, whichever youll choose youll get specific features, go for one that you like the most from look, you wont be dissapointed

picturing "Engine bag A" and "Engine bag B", and the instructions for assembly all in engrish...erhehe

"Wiggle meaningfully connecting rod until sit firm on crankshaft"

(they are nice enough to build it for you)

i would go for one of the last two choices, depending on how the "real world reviews" of the MF turn out once it hits the street

I think that the mad force maybe is the one because it seems very simple and is a new design of a monster truck chassis cofiguration. Just like T-MAXX was released it was a new chassis cofiguration (not another converted buggy) and it was and still on the top. Almost all the manufacturers are making aftermarket parts for the maxx trucks. But when the mad force hit the street with the 3 speed tranny, chain drive, torsion link suspension and the 21 big block engine has a stock part for the mad force that is gonna be a hit. And maybe some manufacturers will design aftermarket parts for the Mad Force.

mad force-leading right now, probably gonna pick 1 up, unless theres some sort of massive problem with it.

dominator-i keep hearing about problems with certain cars not having slippers or shocks or whatever, so its slipping , specially cuz of it body problems(sits 2 high).

terra crusher-good cept for a .21 and some more top speed.

thunder quake-what problems need 2 b addressed?

I was having the same debate until today... I saw a terra crusher in person.... the thing freakin' rocks.....as fast as a T-maxx with better handling...... the Mad Force is the only other 'real' monster truck on your list...... the dominator has got speed... but no clearance.. and a ridiculous looking body mounting technique... if you want pure speed, get a 1/8th buggy

the Terra Crusher is the best choice..

my dad has 2 1/8 scale buggies, and they don't have the kind of capability im looking for, i need something that go thru some of the harder stuff. I really want 2 have all of the features im looking for in 1 car, so comparison chart here i come.

With a 1'000 bucks I would scope one of those tricked out Tmaxxs on EBay a Ton of people are losing money on selling them off cause they want a Mad Force or Terra Crusher. You will get yourself a Tmaxx at about 600 that can almost kill anything right out the box. But if you like me and wanna build your own .21 tmaxx and change your pirate to Dominator specs. In other words spend money on this stuff cause it's fun. Get the Mad Force I'll have mine end of June sometime for obvious reasons..

i don't want a t-maxx, i have an e-maxx, just don't want another maxx. I loved the supershop monster pirate, but its way 2 much for me. I should add the mp 2 my list though.

the only thing wrong with TQ are the weak 6mm wheel shaft and the fact that you have to tear the whole truck before you run it well i guess you should do this with every RTR nitro you buy,but besides the fact i love to drive this truck.:D

Hey me I dont need to sell n e of my fav big trucks I have my twin .21 maxx and soon to be 3 speed too( ESP clod wheel adaptor set up) I am not selling that! too much fun and effort into it!

I am saving up for the Schumacher .21 XTR right now, but in August or sooner I am getting the MAD FORCE. It comes with a .21, 3SPEED TRANNY, Wheelie Bar already on it. the only mod besides aluminum I can think of is a better bumper ( maybe just strap on some foam) and some better wheels for the Wheelie Bar!:D Other than that it looks Great! Hey this comes with tricked out parts that most people end up buying as aftermarket!

WELL I VOTE THE MAD FORCE!

Good Luck on your decision, they are all alot of fun so no decision is a bad one! Hey keep us informed on which one you get.

I have a TQ and I love it yeah its based off of a buggy but that just adds to the excellent handling and jump stability but it does have its problems it does need to be completely taken apart and inspected for loose parts and the 6mm wheel hubs do suck my TQ is currently on the work bench for this problem.

I'd say mad force because i want to hear from someone what its like so i can get one. lol no j/k. the few things that would have me leaning toward the MF are the .21, the 3 SPEED TRANNY, and the LADDER CHASSIS! this is a true MT and when its out its gonna rip everything to shreds.

I've decided to get the mad force and the new Airtronics MX-3 radio. And use the rest of the money for my hop-up fund and bodies.

You should buy a Thunder Tiger. It's 1/8 scale 4wd & has a .70 4 stroke engine. It's only $500.00

If you don't mind me asking, why are you getting out of Electronics? I'm doing the exact same thing as you, getting out of Electric and buying a Mad Force with MX-3. ;)
