hey guys, i just bought my first boat off ebay! I can't wait to give her a run. first gotta recieve her tho :D . the seller said i would need a glow egniter (have one), glow plug (have many, dunno if they will work with a marine engine, k&b 3.5), starter (don't have one), and fuel (i have 40%, will that work?).

You should be okay with both the 40% fuel as long as it has around 18% oil in it, and the glow plug used on the K&B is much like other glow plugs.

A regular 12 voly starter will start your boat-just make sure it's spinning the O/B the right way as K&B's will turn both ways!

How do i know how much oil is in it? or do you mean add oil? if so, what kind?

What brand fuel is the 40% nitro you have? Most nitro fuel makers state how much oil they put in each quart or gallon of oil, and the K&B outboards like at least 18% oil in the total fuel mix.
