I have what i think is a global t6 ...it has approx 4' wingspan and came precovered in yellow and green stripes on wing and fuselage behind the cockpit...my brother built it about 5 yrs back...i no longer have the box or manual...i flew it 2x about 4yrs back and it was definitely set-up very nose heavy...i think this is partly due to me putting on a .25 of some sort, dont remember...that was the hottest engine acceptable per the box...on that second flight i tore the gear out on a hot landing...so i recently dug out the model and repaired the gear and moved the rx battery back on bay in the fuse...

so to my question....does anyone know the cg measured off the leading edge next to the fuselage (the wing tapers back starting about 2-3" out from the fuselage)...does anyone know where i can find this out, links?...does anyone have this model?

any help is greatly appreciated

Hi Flying-Gators,
There is a pretty standard way to get in the ball park with a tapered wing. Move out the wing 1/2 way between the fuse centerline and the tip. Measure the chord and multiply by .25. Move back from the leading edge at the midway station by this amount. Now project this point straight into the fuselage side and you have a reasonable starting point. If it is still noseheavy at this balance point it will not be much.
