I haven't seen any postings here about the Gym-E. I thought that I would bring you into the know. This is a new model from Todd Long at Todd's Models. Built to be an indoor/ calm weather flyer, I have found that it's about the easiest plane that I have flown. I don't have any pictures of it to post at the moment, but it is on the front page at Todd's Models (http://www.toddsmodels) I have just recently, read 1 partial flight, tried LiIons from Hackett's, and really liked the performance. I went from 6C 150mAh NiCd to 6C 280mAh NiMH to 2C830mAh LiIon. The NiCd was nice. The duration on the NiMH was nice, but, as expected, power was down a bit. The LiIon had the power of the NiCd, but the duration should be astounding. I will be back after I get time to fly a full pack out and time it and with pix. This is a truly nice plane that builds very quick and easy and flies even better. If you want to break into indoor flight and use your existing parkflyer style equipment, this is the plane to try.
Try it, you'll like it. :p

For some reason, the links don't work here.
Go to *************/forums and search in Indoor/Micro Models for Gym-E. At least 3 pages of discussion on the Gym-E

Smash McCrash,
I was able to get one of the first GYM-E's to be shipped. It took a few flights to learn to turn the power down and hand launch with an easy push off. The wing has a lot of lift so don't rush it into the air.
I have to fly it outside, so fly in the clamest air only. It was the first plane I ever saw just stop in the air. The breeze was coming to the plane at the same speed as the plane was going. This held for a few seconds and then the plane turned away. That has turned out to be a fun to do where I fly.
I absolutely love the way it turns with the Vee tail. I was worried at first because I had never flown that kind of tail and didn't know what to expect. Now I wonder why more planes are not Vee tailed.
To get it down, just turn the power off or down. It's a fun plane. It is the one I will light for night flying.
If it is windy where you live and can't fly inside, late at night or early morning, It will have to sit and wait to be flown. If you live in a calm weather spot, you will really enjoy flying one.
