Here's my latest RFFS-100 plane, a Fokker Dr1 triplane. Power is 6:1 geared M20-LV (E-Charger), with a 5x2.7 Mini-Arc prop, and a single Kokam 135mAh LiPoly cell. Static thrust after two minutes at full throttle is 21g. The plane's AUW is 29.0g. Wing span is 13.5", wing area is 99 sq.in, and wing loading is 1.5 oz/sq.ft.

More Detail and pictures can be found on my Fokker Dr1 Page (http://home.attbi.com/~gordonjohnson/FokkerDr1.htm). First flight (or crash) will be this Saturday.

Hi Gordon, Thats neat! the only problem is that I want one too, and am bogged down with other projects. The numbers sound real encouraging as well. Last weekend I was watching a chap flying a larger stick and tissue Tripe (looked like a GWS drive). His had no dihedral and still appeared to control quite well with the rudder and elevator. When you get to mark #? it will be time to fit the axle wing. The visual impact of all those wings turning toward you is awesome.
Cheers, Dave

Dave,
I wanted to put the axle wing on, but held off so it can take hard landings while I trim it. So, I hope there is an axle wing in its future.
