Good afternoon all,

I have been trying to get my RFFS-100 up and running and have encountered this problem:

When I hook up the power supply (3 50 MaH nicads) the motor runs at full power and I have no speed control. The two other channels work fine. I'm using a JR tx.

Thanks in advance for all your help.

They screwed up when they designed it and the throttle channel is reversed. Reverse your throttle on your transmitter and you'll be fine.

Actually Randy's problem isdue to the fact that we currently don't have a JR version of the receiver available yet, other then a few prototypes we sent out.

And just for the record, for Futaba tx's the throttle on the rffs-100 is correct. For hitec it isn't. For what ever reason Hitec and Futaba have the pulses for the throttle opposite of each other. Kind of a damned if you do damned if you don't type problem. Of course it's only a problem if you can't reverse the throttle channel like on the Focus 3.

Thank you for the very information needed.

First of all I moved the throttle control through its entire range and noted no difference. I assume what is needed is an internal change to the tx.

Is this reversal of throttle available only on programable tx's.

Thanks guys!

I can hardly wait to fly this little guy.

Randy,
If you are using a JR tx the rffs-100 you have will not work. Unless you were one of the few to receive a prototype of the JR version we have given out.

As a final note to this subject, I wrote Dynamics Unlimited Sunday night and received a prompt reply Monday morning.

The company is committed to helping me with this situation and wrote 'We'll make it work with JR and get it right back to you. '

Great customer service with a great product.
