2NG,

Thanks for the list. I'm always looking for site to add to the dozen or so I have - now 2 dozen or so, and maybe one or two not on your list, which I'll add.

I appreciate the effort.

2NG,

Regarding your post about where to get batteries. I mentioned in an earlier post that I was tickled with www.radicalrc.com. (Just got some more stuff from him last week.) Check him out and see what you think about his prices and selection. He's an avid electric flyer and is helpful over the phone or email if you need an opinion or help.

2NG,

One thing that sticks out in my mind is that he ships anywhere in the U.S. for $2, and adds a connector for you for another $2 if you want. With some of the other online places, (if radical doesn't have it), I tend to hold off until I get a larger order to keep from paying $5-$7 for shipping on a $15 or $20 order.

Thanx for the post 2ng. I've been looking hard for decent R/C websites.

Have any good ones that provide HOW TO's for newbies? All the How To's I see are about things I haven't even heard. Been browsing the web too long searching.

There is also a good canadian online hobby store where you can find a lot of things at a good price for US buyer (all prices are in canadian dollars) and a lot of RC links also.

Here is a link to the web site:

http://www.greathobbies.com/frame_index.html

If you want more links just scroll down the page I just indicate. You will see small underligned words(What's New | Site Updates | About Us | How to Order | Policy | Site Map | Links ;)| French/Radio Control | Control Line | Free Flight | Plastics & Diecast | Ships | Rockets | Trains | Toys)

Click on: links

Then you will have several directories. I use most of the time two of them:

R/C Model Aircraft Related Sites -> General R/C Aircraft Related Sites

and

Manufacturers -> Model Related Manufacturers

Hope that can help.

Regards.
Frederic

p.s. seems difficult like that but try and you will see...
