I know I have seen a site that shows how to use a motor from a CD ROM drive for our use. The problem is I cant find it now and have even done a search here with no results. Do any of you know where I can find the site? Thanks.

Hi ebourlet
The best discussion and it is on going is on the "other" board in the indoor section. For this board, check

Home made brushless is a great thread on the "other" board indoor section, lots of pictures, I did a sucessful conversion with 15 turns per stator. Cranks a zagi prop at 10k rpm from a 6 cell 600 Mah NiMH pulls 6 amps. Here is a picture of the second plane it has flown. 24" span 6.6 ounces RTF. Flys like a pico jet combat.
