i dont own a boat. i was thinking about getting a nitro vee. but one thing is stopping me. im afraid of it flipping out in the water. do these boats flip often. when they do, what do you guys do. you have to go out and get it. could you wait until the boat comes back in with the waves. just wonderin

I'm new to nitro myself, what I do is run my tunnel from a boat!! That way when I stall it I can just drive the boat over to it and retrieve it that way! I've seen a small hook in magazines that youy can mount on your boat (I'm guessing here) and snag with a line (say a fishing pole with a small rubber ball for weight) and retrieve that way! Either way it's pure addrineline running a nitro boat!!!

Nitro boats can be a ball of fun, they more often just shut off than flip. Either way retrieval is done a few differing ways. One of the most effective is the use of a tennis ball and the reel off a fishing rod. The use should be obvious. Next is a boat, either full sized or RC dedicated to recovering other boats. Next and is not highly recommended is swimming out for the boat. Lastly is to wait for it to blow to shore.

If the boat is not far away from shore, u could get a pole, or a stick, or something of that kind, bump it back to shore.

Many boaters use a "Snoopy" fishing rod setup with a regular tennis ball attached to the line. This arrangement will do for nearby flipped boats, but for longer trips a small inflatable boat will do-just don't go swimming in deep water-drowning is not part of the RC boat experience.
