I believe I have read some where that an autogyro can tilt its rotor in order to produce roll. Does this work and if so, how well? Would the aircraft roll like a fixed wing would with alierons and does it produce any yaw?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Bearcat_pilot,
Most auto gyros use cyclic pitch similar to a helicopter to manuever. Tilting the rotor would be similar to using weight shift in a hang glider for control. The Benson simple autogyros appear to use a tilting rotor for control, but it is not clear if there is a yaw interaction. I would expect some based on the precesing rotor blades.
