A list of what i would need to get started.

Could some one please give me a list of what i would need to get started in flying a helicopter. Including everything and what would i need in means of a radio. Like just a 5 channel or one desighned for a heli. And will i need a gyro to. And what can i do to stop from crashing when im learning. Thanx.
