Yep, ive been into RC for quite a while....
I have 4 rc cars/trucks, and 3 planes...
No boats as of yet! but am planning...:)

Im gunna start right out with nitro, as i am very experienced at engine tuning, and other things when it comes to engines of any kind{rc engines to lawnmower engines, to car engines!**..
I want decent speed, 30-40 maybe, and also good wave handeling and turning!{i want everything!**I wont be racing, and if i do, it will just be against my buddys with there RC boats, so nothin too serious....
Im on a budjet of about 275 max, so i wont be going for some HUGE weed eater engine boat...
I was lookin at the "Enforcer gator" from warehouse hobbies....
It looks like a nice boat, not sure on the price,{anyone know?** but i think it come RTR with engine...
It dosnt have to be RTR, although most of the boats ive been looking at are a better deal if u get them RTR.... so i dont need RTR, but if its a better deal, and more convenient, i can always use an extra radio and servos....

My friend has an air boat that runs with an airplane propeller mounted on a .40 airplane engine, its called the "Shockwave" not sure who makes it....
I like the idea of an air boat, not one that goes on land though, just a water fan boat...as for this, i was browsing through my tower hobbies catalog and i saw the "Hobbico AquaCraft, Air Force Air Boat" it looks pertty nice for 249 rtr with fiberglass hull, .46 engine, and a Futaba radio and servos, and its just like my friends boat, exept with a bigger engine, and a fibergalss hull!....anyone got any info on this boat?

Those are the two i have looked at, now i need your help,
Anyone know of any other good boats under some of my criterian listed?

Thanks

Peace,
Jordan

The Enforcer Gator RTR gasboat sells for 679.95 and is sold thru Warehouse Hobbie.com, and they regularly advertise in RC Boat Modeler Magazine.

The Aquacraft and Shockwave are very similar, with the major difference being the choice of hull material (ABS vs. fiberglass) and they both run quick but take a bit of effort to turn in sharp corner on slick water.

The Gator can also be put together thru a hull and hardware package sold by Warehouse Hobbies, so you might check their website and consider building your own gasboat with your radio gear.

Hope this helps,

It's called Shockwave 26EP by Proboat with a 40 amp esc built in, 6-cell 2400 Trinity batts. I read about it in Radio Control Boat Modeller ( Oct. issue 2002 ) and for $160.00 is not to tacky compared to what i have on my workbench! This is the best i have seen in that price range ( PERIOD ) . I am retired and have no affiliation what so ever!!!
