Jethro,

What do you want out of your second plane? If you are looking to advance your skills, you may want something like a Switchback Sport (shameless plug) or something similar. Do you want to build or do you want an ARF?

So many planes, so little time.

I have been back into flying for a little over a month, and I fly my TigerMoth almost nightly.. weather permitting..

Can anyone recommend a good second plane for 3 channels? I would like to try flying with ailerons (sp?) but I want to stick with my 3 channel Focus FMs.. I thought about the Switchback but then realized that I would need a new radio.

I looked at the Urban flyer while on Doug's site, but I think it may be too fast for an advanced beginner. I can fly my TigerMoth in a pretty good wind, and do multiple loops in a row (four is my best so far..), but I am looking for something that may be a little more aerobatic, but slow..

I also have been considering a PF-6, it has gotten good reviews and the foam wing might be better for a beginner. (ie:crasher..)

P.S. I would like to be able to continue using my Qualcomm lithiums if possible.

Jethro,

What Doug said - I think the Switchback is actually my 9th plane but I guess everyone get's there in the end!
