New to electric but experienced gas flyer. I just purchased the GWS Zero at the local hobby store for $50.00. The owner made a battery pack for me as well. He told me I'd need a 6 cell 350 mah pack. Well reading your forum I've discovered I need a 7 cell 600 mah. Will the Zero fly on a 6 cell 350? Or do I need to return the pack? Any info on the Zero would be appreciated. I can't wait to fly it! Thanks

Hi saabdawg,

You will need the 7 cell pack for that aircraft. I believe some folks are even using 8's.

Also, the CG in the manual is not correct. I realized this after the death spiral into the ground and started reading posts about it. Most folks are running it at 50 milli-meters from the leading edge. I set mine there and the tail was still all over the place. I am moving it to 45 milli-meters and reducing my throws a bit.

You can slow it down to land, but keep the airspeed up during turns. You must stay with it at all times, a real adrenelin rush aircraft!
