Hi guys, I'm new to this forum and R/C planes, well half true. I built a Trainer a few years ago by my brother stepped on it and I threw away due to lack of money or time, so I want to jump back into it since I have a love of airplanes and building models of anykind. I'm looking at getting the Top-flight focke wulf fw190. Anyone know if this is a good kit? any critics? I will also buy a trainer to build so I can learn to fly before I take the warbird for a spin, well thanks in advance for any comments

Put that neat Fw190 aside for some months, and build a couple of simpler kits, starting with that trainer. While the newer Top Flite kits are their best ever, still it's not a beginner's project by any means.
Build a trainer, fly it, then a sport plane (shoulderwing), fly it, then a low wing sport plane, and get really good at flying that, then you'll be ready to tackle that Focke-Wulf.
Trust me, you need to learn to crawl, then walk, before taking on the marathon...

P.S. Get yourself an instructor too... :)

Hey, thanks for the reply. The fw190 will be something to consume time during college and holidays, I am good at building stuff so that doesn't bother me. for flying it will sit for a good time sitting pretty, and I will by a trainer and spend lots and lots of time with it I was going to get the tower hobbies trainer with a 40 motor have had laying around since the last time I built one. I got a freind who flies r/c's alright so he is going to help me out.
