Well, it goes like this. I'd like to get my first RC airplane just to see whether I enjoy it or not, and to decide whether I should get one of those much bigger ones that need much bigger runways. Anyway, how much space do I need to fly these backyard planes in? I have a pretty big garden that I am sure would be big enough for them :). And which one of these hundreds of backyard flyers should I get? I'd want one that is easy to fly, can pull a few stunts, has enough speed to make one happy, isn't expensive, and doesn't make you puke when you look at it. Thanks.

Search and you shall find:p All your questions exist in the forum and lot's of info as well:)
much bigger ones that need much bigger runways --- a Thread by Dave Robelen talks about flying field

And which one of these hundreds of backyard flyers should I get? Awesome info inside:)

Sorry for sounding sarcastic, but it just makes me LOL, when I see topics like this.each and every day:p info's. after info's is mounting in this forum...Just gotta learn how to search. I think, that's how you can separate a good flyer to a spoon feed flyer. I ask a lot of question too, but on an existing thread....

Bottom line. This Hobby is not expensive. There is no airplane in existance, that is able to fly off the hands of a newbie and expect a stunnner, stunts fly about in a Sunday day.

Even an easy airplane such as the Firebird, crash on a newbie's first flight. But worthy of it's task in teaching a new commer to fly.

Get a FirebirdXL:)
