I think the forum topics we have, without a better word, STINK. Here's the ones I think we should have on this board and why:
(I'd like some feedback from users of this board, just reply)

General Discussion - Anything Goes (Sometimes people just wanna chat about boats)

Newbie Questions - Specifically for newbies (Targeting just newbie questions)

Nitro/Gas Boat questions - Just for nitro/gas (Not JUST racing questions)

Electric boat questions - Same as above

Racing - Electric
Racing - Gas ( you can keep these, but might want to rename them to Events - Electric and Events - Gas )

Buy/Sell/Wanted all looks fine.

A suggestion forum might be nice and maybe a picture gallery. Just trying to find good ways to increase traffic to your site. More traffic = more banner traffic = more money. You should sell product on your site. Maybe you could get some sweet VAR accounts with boat manufacturers.

These are just friendly suggestions, not trying to stirr anybody up.

The title of this forum is rc boats, whether it be nitro or electric could include buy and sell nitro or electric but off topics have no place here. People want answers to there boat problems and help others who could be newbees out. I do think help with the new builders could be included but nobody wants to build scratch here, just almost ready built units. People want stuff now not till they can build it which goes to show these individuals will not enjoy the hobby and to top it off will not listen or think thru that some of the advice which is given. This is a turn off for the experienced boater who has been at it awhile. I am no genius but i know what works and not works. I believe a lot of these young people get bored with just a few items to talk about, then so be it go to another site and come back and then go again. A lot of sites are popping up like strictly nitro, electric, gas, so there is room for all but if it ain't broken leave it alone. My 2 cents!!

I forgot one important item and that is the boat manufactures only have x- amount of money and there is not much money in boat hulls. The real money is in upgrades and hardware like motors, rudders, struts, batteries and accessories not hulls. The competition is firece like Maus is gone and bought up and warehouse hobbies is bought up by Finedesign and it goes on.
