I have not been inovled with R/C since my first Tamiya Blackfoot years ago. However, lately I've been looking at some cool boats and am considering a new Nitro Boat. I really want a boat that will do at least 30 mph and will not give me many problems. I also would like a boat that comes with full instructions for assembly and prefereably a kit with evertyhing that I would need for assembly from engine to screws. I looked at a Kyosho Viper but they seem too slow and the faster boats I see are custom boats that need years of boating experience to get running. I don't want to buy a RTR boat as I enjoy the assemly part as much as driving the boat. Other than that, I'm open to all suggesstions. Thanks.

You might try looking at the Aeromarine Laminates website. They have many fiberglass hulls and hardware kits to build them, plus they sell nitro engines to complete the package.

if your talking about the Kyosho Nitro Viper GT, it is pretty fast, the nitro one, i have one, and the instruction are easy, and the only thing that comes assembeled is the engine, but everything else needs to be put together, and put into the boat, its a lot of fun, if u get it, u won't regret it.

Do you think the Viper GT is faster than the Traxxas boat?

never seen the traxxas boat in action, but the Viper GT is probably faster, cause the engine is bigger
