I'm taking a trip to the ocean. I know there are little pockets of water i can run in without fear of losing my boat. Does salt water damage anything in the boat, or can i run it safely and just wash it off after i'm done. any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hey, I took my Ep Viper to the Gulf (ocean) last year and my boat was fine as long as I rinsed it with fresh water after each run. I forgot to do this on one occassion and the salt corrided a bit of my drive shaft (on the outside of the boat). As long as you clean and dry the inside and outside of your boat after each run, you'll be fine. Have fun with those big waves on the beach!

salt water is much more corrosive than you think. So just to be safe I would clean off any part of the boat that is wet, especially the prop shaft and any other metal parts on the ouside of your boat. you dont have to be obsessive about it, just wipe it down with a clean wet rag when you're done running it.
