How fast is the viper?

I've had the Viper R EP 99 Edition for a while but have never been able to clock its speed. Does anyone know how fast it is completely stock ( for modified motor purchasing purposes)?

My neighbor had one and it ran around 12mph at about 9 minutes run time. After installing an esc, a 17D motor and water cooling he would run 19-20mph for about 4 minutes run time

Do you know wat kind of joint set he has hooked up to the motor and drive shaft? I'm using a universal Kyosho joint set ( with hinge like connection) and it causes mass vibration and it reduces the speed. Is he using one like that or is he using a solid one piece joint set like the one on the stock motor? If he's using a solid one picece joint set, ask him where he got it. Thanks :D !

I believe he used what ever came with the boat. He only changed the motor and add an ESC
