I'm into real sailboat and windsurfers and I was thinking about buying a victor models wild cat. But i see that there's no body in this forum and i wondering if people are still into r/c sailboats or not.

This forum has only been up for a short time, so, it'll take time to establish a base for the sailboater's part of it. R/C sailcraft are very popular right now, as witnessed by the new kits coming from several companies. Keep viewing and you'll likely see more sal-related posts.

The last few issues of RC Boat Modeler has some very good articles on sail boats which is encouraging. The Oct 2002 issue has an article converting a static display, Billings Mary Ann, to RC. This is a 22 inch north sea trawler that has sails but powered with an electric motor.
I have a 36 inch north sea trawler, Helen, that I want to use that sail besides a motor. I am still working on how to control the sails.

Try checking out the AMYA (American Model Yacht Association web site for places to sail and boats to choose from.
http://www.amya.org/
There is a thriving model sailboat community in the USA. Contact them and see if there is any sailing near you. Go visit and get some advice, and see which classes people sail before buying.
Good luck!
