hey guys i need some help....im going to buy either a 60" cat or a 69" deep vee and i cant find a good motor to get these boats up to speed and im talking like 40-50mph and preferably on the quick side none the less. the zenoah g23 or whatever it is seems good and all but i think it will be a slight bit slugish in these size boats. the only other larger engines i can seem to find are airplane engines and i dont know how well one of those would work in these boats. if anyone has any knowledge or any info that could be of service its greatly appreciated im definately looking to run a gas/oil mix engine most likely not ntro unless i go dual propped but thats gonna end up being quite expensive so ill probably just go gas. thanks for any infi anyone has to offer.

Check with: Quickdraw Marine, c/o M.A. Cary, 25425 Mission Blvd., Hayward, CA. 94544, PH: 510-886-9413, www.quickdrawengines.com or B.H. Hanson, 7380 S. Eastern ave., Suite 124-176, Las Vegas, NV. 89123, PH: 702-436-4422, www.bhhanson@brigadoon.com.

Either of these companies can put you on a suitable gasoline engine for your hull up to and including a twin-cylinder unit that puts-out 28 HP.
