Im thinking about gettin a new electric monster soon. And im kinda torn between these 2. I would probably rather have the TXT-1 but its 50 bux more and doesnt come ready to run or with a good ESC like the E-maxx does. And its really slow out of the box. (i do have a better electric set up from my wild dagger I can bolt in it tho) I am a traxxas and tamiya owner right now and tamiya seems to have much higher quality and durability. Im gonna be doing moslty jumps and stunts and rock climbing with it so what do u think is better desicion.

i say go with the txt-1, that is if your motors u already have are good torq wise (preferably e-maxx motors) and if u are willing to pay extra $$ for bearing and metal gears cuz i heard the plastic gears melt down with mod motors
u should also consider that txt-1 does not have a slipper clucht
so u may damage the gears if your not carefull when landing, but its still a good jumper

the motors i got a 19T doubles and could pull me in a wagon on my wild dagger.
And i am willing to shell out hte extra dough for bearings. And im confident in Tamiyas drive trains. My wild dagger was built very tough and durable and has the same kind of gears the TXT has and i have had no problem with them at all with jumping, pulling, or what ever. And yes i think ill go for the TXT-1.
And BTW so far my electric set up is:
-Traxxas TQ radio
-CS-80BBMG servo(130oz)
-Rebel Reverse ESC
-2 Monsters of touring 19T double motors
-6 cell 1500mah battery packs
I was thinking about getting a EVX esc, and some of those maxx power batts that are 2 for 40 bucks and have a capacity of 2400.
The motors were more than what i need for my dagger so they should be good enough for now on the TXT.
