I have an old nikko electric boat. I was just wondering if i could put like a mod trinity or Reedy motor in it?

I wouldn't recommend you try it. The likely result would be that if you could get the motor situated in the hull, the prop would just boil the water once you hit the gas. Attempting to beefup-improve the boat to hancle the extra power would cost way more than getting an faster electric-powered boat, so there it is.
Sorry I couldn't be more positive,

Right on. A hotter motor would draw more current and probably burn out Nikko's little speed control circuit. :(
Try hot glueing a couple model rocket engines to the hull, and set them off! (I can't stop laughing right now!!)
kidding of course.:)

:( sorry RC. Rick is right. Nothing about the nikko boats is associated with mod motors or speeds over MAYBE 10 mph.
remember this, a boat hull is only capable of handling so much. You cross that line and your asking for nothing but a new hull.
