I have a T-maxx with an XR3 radio, hitec 645 steering servo and stock shifting and throttle servo. Alkaline batteries last like 3 days and are dead. I want to know what everyone runs.... Is it better to buy 5 Nickel metal HY batts and make a pack or should I buy a 6.0V hump pack with a charger?? Also do you know if they make a rechargable pack for the XR3? If i should go with the Pack/charger which one is good but not too expensive?? Thanks for helpin its really getting frustrating ot keep replacing batteries so frequently.

Get those high capacity Nickel Metal Hybride (1800mah)...

They will out last Ni-Cd battery humps in terms of power as well as longevity due to the lack of "memory effect"..

They can be recharged by any Ni-MH recharger, these will be much cheaper in the long run compared to Alkalines or Ni-Cd batteries.

Hope this helps..

Thanks, I work at Radioshack so I know about the hydrides and you are totally right about that but do you suggest any brand or model of charger? Thanks for the help.....
