I have been watching all of the monster trucks and have gotten hooked on them... I was almost ready to sell off to buy a T-Maxx last weekend. But a calmer mind prevailed... What I am trying to find out is what truck is going to give me the most bang for my buck.. I want to make the move to Nitro with the purchase of this truck and I want it to have a .21 for the power plant.... I heard traxxas is coming out with a new truck which I hope will be a .21 the question I have is do you guys think it will be worth the wait. I like the fact that you do not have to look far for T-maxx parts so that is what I am leaning too I just do not want to follow a 400 purchase with a big upgrade expense just to get to .21. buy the way I could just get the RTR TC3 to pass the time while I wait. Looking for some input.....

I would hold off until Traxxas releases this new truck. Cause, then you could be the first person in your neighborhood with the new Traxxas truck!
If that truck doesn't turn out to be a .21, then I would find another truck other than the Maxx. I love it, but I don't plan on upgrading to a .21 for quite a while. You'll have to get the truck ($400), then the .21 conversion kit ($125 I think), and a .21 (at least $100). So right there, you're putting around $625 into it, with just a .21 in it. So I would go with one of the other trucks that come with a .21 in it already.
If you really want some power, I think that there is an EK-4 Unlimted coming out soon. I heard it's .90 powered!!! Now that's crazy! And if that's a lie, there is always the EK-4. .70 powered.
Either way, you'll have a ton of fun with your new Monster!!

Yeah I think I will wait to see what is up with the new truck from Traxxas
I think if it is not what I am looking for then it will be the EK-4.
I do not care for the chain drive on the Mad Force
