Ok, maybe 6 months ago I bought the losi xxxs wit lrp esc, charger, stock motor and battery, I assembled the kit and put all my electronics on. Ok, I rode this thing about 3 months ago, my first run I charged the pack setup everthing and went outside, ok the car runs, good, so I put it on the ground the car goes but has a extremeley, extremeley slow takeoff like something is slipping, and then it finally goes and the thing wont' go straight!!! This actually could be my tires, it was my first time gluing tires and I ****** up pretty badly. So maybe after 7-8 min. the pack dumps, *** ?? So I go in and recharge the battery and go back outside, I pick up the car and the wheels move pretty quick, I put it down and the thing wont go, ****, so can someone tell me whats happening and how I can fix it ? The cars been sitting around for like 4 months and I really wanna start riding it again, what do you guys think I should do ? Should I go and drop it off at my l/h/s and let them deal with it ?? thanks for all the info, if someone can hit me up on AIM my sn is sniper245@aol.com, thanks

There is your problem, you are riding on the car....jk:D (or are you?)
Did you set up your esc properly? How good of condition are your batteries? How is the motor's condition? What gearing are you using?

Sounds like your diff is slipping. If you drove for 7-8 minutes on a loose diff, you'll probably need to replace the diff balls and flip the diff rings over. I'm pretty sure the XXXS doesn't have a slipper (I just bought one, it's on the way!).

Join the party GutterBall! You won't be dissapointed.
AETC3: Yes, it sounds as if you fried your diffs. Look over the instruction manual again (RIF: reading is fundamental LOL!) and take the diffs apart and reassemble them. Inspect the balls and the washers. If the balls are ground into powder, replace them; if the rings are grooved, do the same. If you have to replace them, Losi has a disc with the thrust bearings already pressed in, eliminating the need to grease them and making the diff action smoother. Just make sure you tighten the diff up enough this time. JIC, look at the belt tension, too. Then you'll be rollin like Fred Durst.

Well, you could go improve your bowling average if you wish... Don't worry. patience is a virtue.

You NEED to grease the thrust bearing assembly. It is almost more important to grease those than the diff balls.
