This is what I want...

#1 Somthig big!
#2 Somthing that isn't REALLY hard to take care of.
#3 Somthing that wont break alot.
#4 Somthing that can take alot of bashing.
#5 Somthing thats fast. (30-40 mph or so)
#6 Somthing that won't tip.
#7 Somthing thats four wheel drive.

Well? what do you say? I'm pretty sure you will say the terra crusher but I'm just making sure.

BTW... what are the good and bad things on the terra crusher and the t-maxx.

Terra crusher all the way...Some will disagree of course..But I own one and I run it with stock engine and it will do somthing around 35 mph....But of course I didn't spend money on useless claimed bored carb..Instead I took the stock carb and bored it to 7mm..This is what the TC needed...Now it will do donuts and it is pretty fast but of course you always want somthing faster...BUt still the TC is the right choice for that...When you want to upgrade to .21 no expensive conversion kits are needed....A lot of poeple have converted there TC to .21 power wihout any convertion kits....

BUt right now the cream of the crop is MF i think and dominator but still the TC deserves its fair chance.....

My NMT w/15FE goes a radar confirmed 36.3MPH and i raced a terra crusher on some tarmac not long ago and i could KILL that thing, it was SSSSSSSLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOWWWWWWW, I'd say it is about 26mph, 30 MAX

It was not tuned right .....A normal TC will do 32 mph...What is a NMT?HPI?you wouldn't kill my TC i can garanty you that....MIne isn't slow...

And beside for the price the TC is ready to run and comes with radio and comes loaded with extra spare parts ...not to many company offer that with there products....

What do you mean "bored carb? And "bored it to 7mm".

i took the dremel and made the inside of the carb larger so more air and fuel enters at the same time into the cranckcase...This is what the FS.18 need cause it is pretty of a small engine to turn those huge tires...

The TC is huge the biggest but has the smallest power plant so do the math...The stock .18 can still hits some good notes but it needs some mods....Like the carb boring mod and a cold air kit(long tube attached to caburator and air filter)....

The TC handling is very good and is a blast to drive and is alot of fun...When I drive mine I just keep putting fuel in it and 10 fuel of tanks later Im like wow this thing is kicking....hehe

Sounds to me like you really want a 1:8 buggy....

I had a t-maxx.
I had an e-maxx.
Traded them in for a TERRA CRUSHER!
It's bigger.
Stronger steering servo (1/4 scale).
Tamiya spent a couple years designing it to work right
not just a 'conversion'.
I don't feel that I have to buy a bunch of upgrades
cause there aren't any. (thank goodness for now).
And even the dog enjoys chasing after it!!!

Good Luck!!

You will spend a TON more money on a junk max to get it anywhere near other trucks out there. No offense to max owners, but out of the box the max is junk. Good news is there are $1000's of after market parts out there for the max. BAD news, is you have to buy it all to get a good truck.

BUY the Terra or EK4. You will stomp, out run, RUN OVER any max out of the box.

You ask......I spoke:D

The engine was tuned well and had over a gallon through it, the guy who owns it races 1/8 buggies so he's not going to not tune a single carb'd engine right!! A NMT is a HPI Nitro MT, 4wd ST and i am running it with the std 15FE which is known to be a very slow engine and i could ahnialate him!

i think that you want a terra crusher. I have a t-maxx, and i like it, but it is not as big, or fast, and probably not as durable, as the terra crusher at my lhs. I don't find it that hard to maintain, except that i like to keep it super clean, which takes a while, but if you don't care about a little dirt, that shouldn't be a problem. Also, i read that it was pretty stable, and that it was really durable.

This is what it has come too...

I know my LHS carrys the TC. But I'm not sure if they have parts for it. if they don't I'll prob. get somthing else or just a t-maxx. SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO................. I SURE HOPE THEY HAVE THE PARTS! BTW... if they don't, Would it be e-z to order them from somwere?

Thanks

You can order ANYTHING cheaper on line than your LHS!!!!! Just go search. Check out EBAY too.

The ONLY time I use my LHS is if I am in Dire Straits for a part and even then they usually don't have it and even they have to order it.

For some reason the only thing around here that is popular is HPI, which is SAD!!!!!! Horible Parts Inside :D :D

Get the Madforce............its as simple as it gets...Great .21 size engine, durable & a RCCA radar confirmed speed of 43 mph.
Its fast right out of the box. Plus since its som simple in construction you won't have to buy tons of aftermarket stuff to trick it up.

Anyways thats just my advise...................
Best of luck.

If yah want somethin that won't tip dont get the T-Maxx. If you plan to hop it up with some wider rims or suspension arms then go for it. But straight from the box you will be able to tip it on jus about anything.

Well guys! I got a t-maxx the day before yesterday and this thing is SO awsome! It's big enough for me and fast enough for me and good enough for me! I really like it! BTW... I'm have been racing it around all day for 2 days and have only tiped like 3 times!
