Is there anyone out there that can tell me where there might be some hobby shops in the Asheville N.C.??
I'm heading down there in the near future for a little vacation.
Thankx.

Hey, I live out here in Asheville. I'm sorry to report there isn't anything hot in our area. We have only one, Art Craft and Hobby down on the river near the Asheville Mall. There is another out in Hendersonville, Hobby House, that has quite a bit of plane stuff. If you looking for parts on the wall and a really nice store, the closest is in Easley SC about 1 hour away, The Hobby Connection, witch is where a few of us go and race every Friday Night for Off-Road.
Look me back up when you get here, send me an e-mail. There are a few of us into rc'in, and there is a local onroad oval to race at in Asheville. Nothing for Off-Road as of yet though.

Hey Heavy Throttle,
Thanks for the response. I will be in the Asheville area the 3rd
week in Sept. Where abouts do you race on the oval at?
I'm bringing my "thrasher Rustler" down so I won't miss my toys
while I'm on Vaca.
How's the weather down there at that time of year?
Do you know of any other kind of events or happenings going on
at that time of month???
Thanks a bunch.
Dan T. :)

It's will be about the end of summer so it should be still warm. 70-90, just depends...
The oval is near the hobby shop, just down the road, they only race pan cars and spec car classes though.
I should have me Stampede back up and running by then, my equipment is in my T3 for racing right now and I miss the pede.
While your down here, come and visit the Biltmore House Estate and Gardens. Bring a camera and lots of film.
