i was suprised about teh nitropro st it handled just as good as my electric xxx-t and it jumped perfect and has very good speed i mean if i beat todays good nitro trucsk with it it can't be that bad, i liek the nitro pro st its a good truck it may be 6 years old but its still good.

i have a traxxas nitro hawk i have had since '94,its still one of my favorite rc cars,i even preferred it over a nitro rustler i had for a while, its had a trx 12,os 12 czr ,ttr 12 and now the original trx 12 with a 15 p/s head and carb, this combo runs like a raped ape.

I just bought it on eBay. It's supposed to be a Kyosho and it has a .10 size engine in it. It's suppose to be in good shape except for a missing pulley on the bottom or something.

I bought it because it's cool for the most part and I would think it's worth alot more than I paid.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Gary

I have a Kyosho Nitro Pro also!! It has been a pretty good truck, getting parts for it is h**l though. I melted the clutch recently, and that sent me on a 4 month long search for a replacement three shoe clutch. I finally found one and as i was reinstalling it on the engine, i broke my engines pilot shaft  now i am out of commision until i have saved up enough for a new enigine. pics of my truck on the way.

where did you find the three piece clutch thing, mine just went out and i need to get a new one, any help here would be great. I also have a prob. with my engine, connecting rod is cracked. lol, put a new diff in it as well, the diff set from the ultima works great on it (fyi).

i actually converted the car to a two shoe clutch, however i found all of the pieces to do it at Hobby Town. the part numbers are hpia884, hpia808, and hpia827 this ran about $10.50 with tax, and it included; flywheel & spacer (a one piece item, much lighter than the old one) clutch shoes and springs. the flywheel might not fit depending on what engine you are using, it worked for me because i am using a nitro star engine(hpi's house brand) however hpi does make other flywheels. hope this helps

I have an "old school buggy that I have been trying to identify for awhile now...I just found this forum so maybe someone can help me. It says Kyosho on the front bumper, it's a 1/8 scale four-wheel drive that I have since converted to rear-wheel drive because I couldn't find the front dogbone. Here is a pic...

got to the usa1 nitro forum, there you have some pics, and you can see itīs the same thing, so you can use all parts from the usa1

I have an Outlaw Rampage, bought it brand new way back when... It's barely a rolling chassis now... I may gather all the parts for it and put it up for sale one of these days... The origional OS 12 is toast though.... But I do have a tuned pipe on it...

I've got an old school nitro truck that started life as an electric Losi JrX Pro buggy. Then the truck craze hit in about 1991 and I upgraded it with a LXT truck kit. About a year later, Duratrax came out with a nitro kit for the LXT, and I purchased that. It was one of very few nitro powered 10th scale trucks around. Shortly after I built it, Associated and Losi both came out with their own factory trucks, the RC10GT and the original Losi XNT. So, the company that made the conversion kit for Duratrax, stopped making them and parts. I still have it and it looks great. The only trouble is, parts are impossible to get of it. It was very tricked out in its day with ball bearing steering and titanium everywhere. It is also the only vehicle I have ever seen that is chain drive to a ball diff.
I thought I had some pics of it, but I must have deleted them from my pc. I still have the truck and conversion kit box and may add some pics of it later. Its still in excellent condition.

Hey, I'd love to see pics of your truck. If you get some you can email them to me directly at tfhughes_28@yahoo.com

i love looking at the older models...i've heard of that conversion, i actually have old RC Car Action magazines here that have the add in them for that kit you have. The only pictures i have seen of that conversion is in the mags. It will be cool to see an actual "real" pic of the truck.

Is your truck in working order? Or is there a few parts you need for it? That is a truck to keep forever as a show piece, in my opinion. I bet it is worth a few bucks to the right person. Let me know when you get some pics.

Yes, my truck is complete and should work with a bit of tuning. I will get it out of storage and get some pics of it. I havent messed with it in so long, but I do remember I put a later model O.S. .15 in it. Not sure if it is still in it or not. I still have the .12 engine as well.

Hey,
I Bought A Kyosho Nitro Tracker Off A Kid For $15.
It Needed Engine,Shocks,Radio,Fuel Tank, And Tires Glued.
But It Has NO BREAKS ON IT.
i had it moving under its own power by it self with no radio in it.
Just moved the carb idle screw in to make it open just barely to get it moving.
anyone else know anything about this truck.
looks cool.
