its actually a B3 with a few suspension modifications for better geometry. :) if they ever produce this there will most likely be a conversion for it.

It's quite a bit different, but not really that much different. It's mainly new arms, hubs, shock towers, front brace, and longer chassis.

Rumor has it the new buggy is a ground up design....no conversion kits here! It's got a totally new chassis/suspension package that makes the car easier to drive than the B3 and is super adjustable.

does any one know if the stealth tranny will fit into the old tub style chasis ?
When does the new B3 come out?

The tranny that comes with the B3 and T3 won't fit into the older tub chassis cars. You'd have to use the tranny that came standard with the Team Car, Worlds Car, and RC10T. I believe it is also still used in the RC10DS. The original Stealth tranny had a ratio of 2.25:1 if I remember correctly. I've got one in my old RC10T and one in my old RC10 Graphite.

So has anybody actually seen this all-new design yet? If it is in fact an all-new design, then it's totally different than what I've seen some of the factory guys using.

It probably wont come out for along time. The team guys are probably just expirementing with different suspension ideas right now. though hopefully it wont be like the TC3 where we'll have to wait another 2 year to get it because of tons of delays.

I read in a magazine, XTreme I think, that they are working on a new buggy, and that it was unlike anything out there ( with AE I can believe that) and it may be out by Christmas.

yes i must agree with skip, thats what i heard too, i think that the B3X would be a very good car at my local track, i heard that a couple of the pros have them and are testing, good to know that AE is coming out with a new buggy.

Steve P has a little something about it in one of the new products for 2003 threads, it sounds pretty nice but they are tossing the metal motor gaurd, that kinda sucks, that was like a trademark, and it had so much durability.

Think of the weight savings you will have without that metal guard. For Stock class it will be a noticeable difference.

I heard something a while back that they were working on a mid motor 2wd design but that was a while ago and then not much since.

I liked the metal gaurd, have you seen how often those things break on losi?
