Well, For starters, I have a VERY old Traxxas TCP-1. Very old, yet I can still find parts for it! Next, I have a unfinished XXX buggy. I have a chameleon 19-turn spec modified motor for it. I will soon be the new proud owner of a FT TC3. Tomorrow, my buddy is going to bid on a Futaba 3PDF radio system for me. I hope this will get the ball rolling...

NoPepsiForYou, Is that a Chameleon 19-turn spec modified motor? I have that for my XXX buggy. You even have the same ESC for the TC3 that I wanna get for my FT TC3. How is it working for you?

one of these day's i'm gonna race pete v. my buggy is going to be better than his, all i need now is a new motor, and some titanium turn buckles. i've got a machinist that should be working on some custom universals for it.

Hello Everyone,

I just got around to registering. I got back into the hobby recently and acquired a TC3, which is now almost a hopped-up FT. My current fully-functional RC's are a TC3, two TA02's (one with full HPI graphite chassis), an old RC10T (aluminum), and an old graphite Composite Craft RC10Lss. I used to race narrow pan cars on high speed oval. I love these new touring cars and want a copy of each. They are much easier to control than 2WD pans were.

TRI-TURBO: If you are listening, could you explain what was necessary to develop a twin motor TA03 chassis? I have a bit of experience modifying Tamiya stuff and am always looking to do crazy things like that. I think the TA03 chassis came in several versions that differred on where the motor was placed (i.e. front- or mid-mounted). Am I warm? Could you explain when you have time. Thanks,

JC

Started off with a Tamiya Thundershot and went to a Kyosho Lazer ZXR (which is collecting dust in my old room) that I raced at the local track. After a hiatus, I decided to get into RC again, buying a TL01. Gave up on it after a year, sold it and bought the TA04 that I have now. Also built a Mini Cooper (M03) for my GF last week.

I've got a T3 that used to be ready to run. All that's left of the RTR is the tranny and the turnbuckles. Everything else has been replaced by graphite. I've also got an HPI RS4 Pro-3.

First car was a duratrax max st but it was bad so i sold it. I was out of the hobby for about 3 months and got a mini z. Then i got a tmaxx. And this past school year my dad told me that if i could get a 4.0 he would get me a RC. Well he got screwed and i got a 4.0 and a ofna ultra MBX.

98oz is not that beefy for a buggy what are u taking about most high end digital servos that u buy with metal gears and dual ball bearings have over like 80oz and the jr servo is one of the best servos out there for on and off road thats what everyone runs in there buggys at my track and if they dont run that jr servo they run the airtronics 1 that has 110oz at .07 and i seen in tower that the tmaxx comes with a 80oz servo which i think is kinda low for a big tmaxx so i seen in caraction mag that jr recomends there other digital servo at 188oz .15 so how can u even say that 98oz is to high for a off road buggy:rolleyes:
