i saw an ad in RCCA for this truck and i'm not going to compare it to other trucks but please post info on it. does anyone HAVE one? is it a nice, durable truck? i also posted this because nowone has talked about this truck and i thought i should.

i have a gladiator. The radio that i got isnt that ugly one though. Its not really a monster truck because it flips easy. Very easy. I put road tires on it and lowered it, its more like a touring car with a lift.

its fun to drive in parking lots and still go off road a little bit. Its way too fast for me, i crashed mine into my friends real car, and bent the top and bottom chassis. Im definitly buying replacement parts though. THis truck is a blast.

i've stopped thinking about buying this truck, i heard getting parts is hard and i don't want a truck that flips all the time, i'm prob gonna get the new t-maxx, it looks awsome

You know, as ugly as that truck is (don't get me started on the radio) some of the guys i bash around with on saturday afternoons have this thing.

Despite its perceived ugliness and 'girly' nature it actually is a pretty decent performer and more durable than it looks. I don't own any Megatech stuff but the durability of some of their vehicles really caught me off guard and impressed me. Looking at individual parts of their design, nothing is particularly impressive but everything put together, it seems to work.

Also, calling any company out for copying another's design is actually kind of lame, at this stage of the game. Designers will mimic successful products. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. Insert obligatory comment about Traxxas copying Kyosho's QRC layout for the T-Maxx -here-, etc.

I just read the review of this truck in RCCA(its an old issue, i was going thru it yesterday). My experience tells me that megatech sucks though :p (jus ask my shot M16 that i had in my tmaxx)

This thing sucks... don't get it, it's the same design as the nitro razor... looks exactly the same...

the razor was my first rc and i got had... megatech never has any parts for it in stock which you think they would considering it's their car... Also it's designed poorly - very weak stock chassis, suspension constantly flipped... save your money and a HPI MT if you want a 4 wheel drive staduim truck...

hi all...i know this is the megatech truck forum...but i have a meg-16 on my maxx and its the best running engine ive owned so far..:)
it has a os carby on it and starts and runs super.:D
dont get me wrong i love traxxas trucks....but the pro 15 can be ornary at times...lol

ok don't go calling a company crap cause there new and made a few mistakes.. There engines happen to be good engines and the new q series engine coming out looks sweet 1.6hp for under $100!! and besides megatech makes me alot of money.. lol
