Field:

Three firebirdXL flyer's. I believe that FBXL or FB has a new plane, that make's an annoying sound:mad: But I love the guys, dog fighting their, new FBXL combat. When one is behind the other it makes a sounds, alarming the other, that his hit.

Systems check: ok.:)

FB warriors, charging their batt.

Time to fly, I was a little nervous, than I was the other day, all I can think about is Dave Robelen's. whispering his words of advice in my ear. WOOOOOOOhooooooooo. good start, good alt. no problem, turned the Reno Racer towards, facing me for a fly by.

*Nose down.
*applied R/ailo.
Plane is inverted. I manage to get it like this for a long heart thumping sec. of my flying experience.

*Nose up to get it flying level, and another R/ailo. back to normal position. I love it.

Circuit around the field. Twice, pulled her up, and rolled while going up, then to a loop.... AHHHHHHHH... What more can I do.

Time to land, about a good jog away.. I don't mind the extra exercise;)

2nd flight:
Fresh batt. Just getting the feel of the bird. Landed in a good jogging distance. AGAIN.

3rd flight:
Heart thumping as the first one, but stayed focused on circling the field, but what the HECK rolled the plane.. WOOOOhooooo...
Fun, fun, wicked fun..

Time to head home, so called work is calling:D I'll be back.. I love my Reno Racer.... (Time to heal injured muscle, luckily not the Reno bird)

Sunday fun fly:

I finally did it:D No crash, no broken wings or anything close to an imperfect flight. I had tons fun flying the Reno Racer, local flyer's, came and joinned me. It was good that they did, because they exposed me in different style and techinques in flying aerobatics.

The Reno Racer can JAM in low alt. as well, as fly close, knee high to the ground, I had to keep it close at all times, for it can get out of site, fast.

I installed an Asto 010, which made the Reno Racer fly on rails, Sweet little plane....

No crash and Loving it:)

Finally with will all functions. A/R/E

Knife Edge circles are great, but how do you guys keep it from nosing down?:( I can complete a good circular maneuver but not in it's imaginary line, it goes down:confused:

using the rudder.

As a basic rule for knife edging:

*1/4 roll: apply opposite rudder to roll direction

*1/3 roll: apply similar rudder to roll direction.

to put it simply..... in the KE, your rudder becomes your elevator, and the elevators become your rudders. therefore, say you're flying from right to left of the field, 1/4 roll left so that you see the topside of the model. hold right rudder to keep the nose up (it may or may not be necessary to use full rudder..... experiment) apply a gentle down elevator to construct the circle.

You may find it easier and more confidently to perform this in opposition, meaning not to fly from the other direction, but to roll, correct(the part of using the rudder to keep the nose up), and use 'up' elevator to construct the circle.

lots of detail, but i'm sure your answer is above, along with my usual trash!!!
