well

When you took your tranny apart to tight the 2 speed screws when reassembling are you sure you install both one way bearings in the right direction?including the one that goes into P3?

Is your TC moving at all?

If by any chance you have remove your airfilter and seen dirt into your carb you might have a worn piston and sleeve....So maybe the engine cannot rev high enough for the second gear to engage......

The TC stock engine really sux and i have had my share of problem as well at times....But i got it tuned right...

One more thing check your slipper clutch nut(part#MD3) and make sure to tight it then back it off 1//8 of a turn....

Yea the truck moves..
i doubt its the sleeve cause i only got the problem after i messed with the tranny but i didn't know the #md3 will effect it and i think i did mess around with that.. ill go try that..
I can get the adjustment point to either one of the extremes.. either it sticks in 2nd all the time or in 1st.. but i can't make it to switch from 1st to 2nd when i drive.

I took the thing to my hobby shop today and they didn't want to help me.. they told me to bring in the manual but there isn't much in the manual about it.
Im by myself on this one :(

Well

seems that you are pretty close....DiD you file the part ML7 like mention on TC central? This will definatavly fix the problem....You have to know how to do it...If look in your tranny and see part# ML7 you will find that both cluths shoes have to cam over this part...if you file the egdes about 1 mm it will help a lot.....

Another thing to try if you are driving and it shifts into second gear to bring it back to first gear simply quicly toggle the trigger in the reverse position...Fast enough that the TC don't stop and it will bring it back to first gear.....

and remmember the adjustement screw on the second gear is very touchy.....hope this help.
