This is JUST my opinion, but I would reccomend getting the Picco .15 part #tp124( non p/s) or tp 125 (p/s). They have great power, but if you're upgrading from bone stock, you would really have to get a racing clutch, and the HPI lightweight flywheel. This would be a major improvement over stock.
Non P/S Picco (http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p.pgm?Q=1&I=LXRT75&P=7)

Pullstart Picco (http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p.pgm?Q=1&I=LXRT76&P=7)

HPI non p/s lightweight flywheel (http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p.pgm?Q=1&I=LXM760&P=7)

HPI lightweight Pullstart flywheel (http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p.pgm?Q=1&I=LXM759&P=7)

Racing clutch (http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p.pgm?Q=1&I=LXLW03&P=7)

thanks falcon!... i had decided on the trinity/picco before your reply...its very assuring to get a second opinion. my only concern is beating my buddies new T-MAXX. i'm sure my nmt racer with that engine will more than get the job done. THANKS again

No problem, if it's a stock T-maxx, you'll blow the doors off it with the little problems. I run that non p/s picco on my NMT, and it's outstanding.
