I have a ft gt with an o.s. cv-x i'm lookin to get rid of, i was thinking of selling it, but i've also been lookin at an e maxx latley. DO you guys think a ft gt with a cv-x for a new or slightly used e-maxx (rtr) would be a good deal?

Cv-x needs new pullstarter but has duratrax stage II perfomance coolin head.

PS. i'm not ready to do it right now but i'll keep your e-mail adress when i'm ready if any one's interested my email is K_sw31@hotmail.com.

sorry i don't have a pic with the body off, and the tires instead will be dirthawg II's in the back and edges in the front.

P.S. no radio system but i'll give you the throttle and steering servo's (both standard, one futaba, one airtronics).

you will probly have a hard time trading it for a e-maxx.

what if i were to buy a pull-starter, plus 50 bux, and if the e maxx was fairly used... and glow starter w/ meter.

Heres something to consider. A brand new E-Maxx costs $320 at Tower Hobbies. If you sell your GT for $200 to $250 on E-Bay, then you've almost earned enough for a brand new truck. Considering you have $50 to trade with your GT, you would be very close to a new, unused Maxx.
Just as a reminder, whenever you buy something used, there's a chance something is going to be broken. This holds especially true if the item is "fairly used." So, make sure you plan for any broken parts your used Maxx may arrive with. Don't think that because the seller says something is "in good condition" that it actually is. Again, you're much better off if you save a bit of money, sell your GT, and buy a new E-Maxx.
The worst thing you could do in this situation is trade your almost-working GT for a broken Maxx and discover you don't have enough money to repair your truck.
